Of course domestic terrorism exists, but it isn't frequent and it doesn't seem that more ability for any given citizen to carry out a specific terrorist attack correlates with more domestic terrorists attacks in general. The fear

This is so true, and key. So many people think about themselves and systems in general as being separate when logically there isn't even such a thing, at least not in the relevant context. You're looking at a a system and how it

Close the borders to foreigners, open the skies to citizens, yes. Maybe there is an informative comparison of border policy to airspace policy, but it has yet to be written here. Otherwise it seems the two aren't very related

Not sure if its actually a stoner call-out, but often android products from a number of brands use "4:20" as their goto. I wonder if it's not marijuana related at all and infact has a similar sort of backstory?

Yknow the paperclip maximizer? The thing where a paperclip company makes an AI that takes over everything, making it into paperclips? Well, actually you don't need any fancy AI. The paperclip company is already a [Local Currency] max

Yes but that isn't meant for screen space saving or legibility - dotsies is optimizing for both. They could maybe do better on legibility, or maybe it isn't that big a problem...the more I think on it, the more I get where the aut

I love the way it teaches you, but the other comments are correct. It doesn't really make sense to optimize for screen space like this. However, the teaching style along with a symbol alphabet that IS trying to solve for better legibil

Does this control for benefit from social anxiety reduction? Or benefit from experiences which wouldn't have even begun to occur (due to social anxiety)? "The only safe level of driving is 0" and yet its trivially clear that

There's a single wire in all computers, for some reason they always just have to include it, which if severed will completely disable the computer, as in, it won't even turn on, not even try to turn on. That wire is the one de

That's people's problem then, because if you're trying to study consciousness and the borders of it, the only realistic way to do that is modifying it and seeing how things change. Then theories can be made and tested etc.
