In general I agree with this, though it seems to be mostly about startup founders pivoting. I do take issue with this suggested exercise: > What bad things are you afraid of happening? Imagine in detail what it would be like if they happ

Probably frequency illusion. Looking at google trends, it peaked around the release of iOS 7, when Apple introduced a flat design. https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&geo=US&q=s...

I really hope all these games a preserved somewhere. There are big movements to preserve old console and PC games, but flash, and possibly to a bigger extent, mobile games seem more overlooked. I think there's a tendency to look back a

Ah, yeah I see what you're saying. Twitter may not be the best example though. Users don't pay anything, but they've also failed to turn a profit.

This part is baffling. The story has always been that Logan has a young, impressionable audience. These are grown men with a bunch of disposable income, and they’re listening to the Logan Paul podcast and buying his crypto nonsense? Does no

I can see that, but it's a complex situation and I have counterpoints. - Young male angst has no shortage of outlets. Sports, both extreme and normal, tons of existing media, pirated media, blowing stuff up, etc. Taking away Steam acco

What would be the point in cutting regular Russian citizens off from video games? It may actually be a good way to communicate with them.

I’ve wondered if that was the case based on my experience. Every response is 80% too long, just like the real internet. Yay?

It all comes down to DRM. The media you get to download cannot work on it's own, so you're forever tied to the store that provided it to you. Otherwise you could just store it on your own. Meanwhile the pirates still always find t

Seems like you're explaining exactly the intent of this account: Proving that putting free speech above all other values on an internet forum isn't always a good idea, even if it's legal. No one actually thinks this account i

I would say the taboo is gone in many places. Like podcasts or youtube, where the existing moderation controls hold no power. I wouldn't call it a great victory. It certainly reveals who has a shallow vocabulary and leans on the f-word
