The author started off saying how less than 1% of Dropbox users use two-factor authentication. What good is such a scheme when nobody is going to use it?

That doesn't make it very appealing for app developers, though, if the size of their base is dramatically limited to just people with both the latest and the greatest devices.

I'm not sure if that's truly normal and if it is, it shouldn't be. My first and only pair of Bluetooth headsets are the Beats X. I chose them because, unlike the AirPods, they stay in my ear and the ease of switching between

From my own experience and reading that of others, it's the device that no one can justify until they get one. Then it becomes the device that the vast majority love and some can't live without.

When you get a notification saying you've increased your daily move goal streak to 200+ days, you're tempted to not break it. There are already quite a few people I've seen hitting 800 days.

My uncle repairs appliances. A couple of factors that he's encountered in his years of experience: 1. Energy star compliance. Many of the pumps now use far less power but are more prone to burnout. Keeping a fridge door accidentally op

Apple's API don't discriminate with regards to precision. An app that shows nearby stores with a 1km radius precision requires the same level of permissions as an app that's trying to do 1m precision.

My 2 thoughts on the subject: 1. To an extent, it's a solution that can't be fully cross platform. Accessing messaging APIs is very limited on iOS and most apps that support a customer support feature really just use a single comp

Unfortunately, the rise of frameworks has led to another, often ignored problem: app startup time. Carthage and CocoaPods, while great tools, became enablers and I'm hoping static library support will be announced this WWDC.

I'm genuinely curious how that would even work on the technical level. As an app developer, I'm not making the connection here as to how iOS would even allow that. Edit: Read up a bit more on it. Turns out it was the practice of f

I'm not sure Craig meant to say that. Tim Cook has stated he's not crazy about VR but thought there were quite a few applications with AR. Perhaps that's what he really meant?
