With settlement time of 60 minutes Bitcoin was never designed as true currency, but more as a holdable asset. While some of the critiques are valid, as system matures, there will be less and less of it. Crypto is here to stay.

Professional athletes cut for several days quite often. It’s well researched area. But better way for regular people is just do OMAD. You get used to it after first three days, which are brutal. So, strong motivation is required, but still

It is an exception though. Very few people exercise to this level. Similarly you can eat as much as you can if you nicking across Antarctic, but this is not exactly a typical activity.

Have you read Heinlein's Starship Troopers? While not exactly your setup, it explores what happens in a society like this.

The more selection criteria depends on cut-off (which it is in the university setting), the more likely selection from normal distribution is going to be skewed. Then Fields medalists are selected from long tail of already skewed population

Just today I wondered how many people have first name Mickey and middle name Mouse. I couldn't find anything - it just goes to generic Disney websites.

When done in children, it stops progression of myopia. I had it done at 13 after loosing 1 point every year, and it stopped at 6.5. God only knows what would it be without it.

There is a procedure that stops myopia progression, although it's not offered in US. Very effective when done in young age. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scleral_reinforcement_surgery

Actually, you are right, I mistyped. Although hypercube interconnects exist, and were used, for example, in AS400, system in question uses hypertorus topology.

I used WSL2 with CUDA from linux for awhile, but forced update to Windows 11 (which broke everything) was a last straw for me. I went back to dual boot configuration with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, and it saves so much time on fiddling with wsl, I h

Not at all, they actually would be happy to get rid of all these low value accounts. They don’t want to maintain separate SKU, and given that this option is not available for 10 years, any potential revenue is so tiny, they just don’t want

The best thing to do is to actually read SAFE templates, they are self-explanatory. Pretty much now these are standard instruments for early-stage investing for everyone, not only YC, so investor or founder you’ll see them a lot. https:&#x
