I think there will be no such profession because both people and models will adapt to better understand each other. This has already happened with Google - search got better over the years, but also people became better at doing good search

Currently Trump is devisive candidate for republican party. Ironically dems would benefit if he is around and party is fractured.

Haha, while other commenters spew some nonsense, what actually happened is that Desantis signed controversial anti-riot bill that was later condemned by UN. This is beyond farcical since there are many countries with far stricter anti-riot

But all high-level politicians are criminals. And perhaps we would be better off if they are all in jail. The problem is that coming for ex-presidents in particular leads to them not leaving office and becoming dictators. And this is far wo

This beyond funny how you present well-researched answer explaining republican’s point of view in a post contrasting left-vs-right viewpoints but just get downvoted for doing so. HN is so overrun by ultra-lefties and is so unmoderated (on s

I don't think it's untrustworthy in a sense you are deliberately lied to. I think more likely problem is that there is quality control issues and entire batch of particular bulb is compromised, like can happen with anything else -

Yeah, there is unfortunate need to click on each bulb and read through specs. Some of the bulbs have exact CRI listed, and some have "90+". I only buy the first kind.

by vl 4y ago
You can't buy a bulb that is rated to last a lifetime, but you can buy ones rated to last for 10+ years if used 8 hours a day (i.e. 35,000 life hours). I retrofitted entire house - 200+ bulbs and fixture retrofits more that 5 years ago

I use https://www.1000bulbs.com/ because they have godzillion bulbs in stock and it's possible to filter by CRI and color temperature. I just get highest CRI in required color temp, and it's good. More expensive,

Dark Sky was good, but had it's strange quirks too. On top of that some features were undiscoverable - for example it was possible to click bubbles on the right side of the graph to get detailed view of the hour. Very useful, I stumble

I generally like the product as described, but definitely there are tricky challenges for you, and no-product launch at HN is perhaps a bit premature. (You can't do a launch like this on HN, you need to hype it up in the media and then

You can’t have cake and eat it too: there is standard for testing and approval and it was violated in this case. Notice I’m not saying it’s good or bad, it’s just what the facts are.

Yours is the false claim. My source is FDA: Vaccine was approved on August 23, 2021, but was used since December 11, 2020. In other words most people in US received first dose until it was fully tested. https://www.fda.gov/n

Vitamin D specifically is not included in the standard panel, you have to ask for it specially.

This seems a bit excessive. Whole Foods has 365 vitamin D capsules in 1000 IU, 2000 IU and 5000 IU. Large bottle of 5000 IU comes out particularly cheap per dose.
