I thought the same. In my anecdotal experience, drivers tend to get much lower than the manufacturer mileage because they optimize for things other than fuel economy (e.g., speed). My dad taught me lots of tips on conserving fuel and thankf

That's hardly a fair comparison. jQuery is a library and Angular is a framework. IIRC, Angular depends on (at least a subset) of jQuery, so it could only approach usage and never exceed.

I also have asked this question many times, but have been unable to get anything useful out of it. I usually end up with one of three responses: 1. Verbatim definition the positions job description. 2. I'd be golfing or laying on a bea

We used to do this and it caused a lot of issues. Shrinkwrap is a must to keep versions stable. NPM and network unreliability can cause failed installs, as well as other issues. Our first major improvement to this work flow was a tar of the

We are an (almost) completely node.js team and are having quite a bit of success using it for microservices. gRPC makes communication fast and easy, while Docker and Kubernetes make deployment and composition just as simple.

One of the interesting corollaries to this is that the right person for a role at one point in a company / product is not necessarily the right person at a future time. For example, the rogue / maverick type can be very important

This doesn't make sense. You can still generate all of the HTML with react tags for SEO. The difference, is you can still use React in the client after page load.

What is the argument for going completely static? Static as in not using React on the client, not as in static files. It seems (to me), that it would be useful--in addition to the static html--load React on the client and from that point

I'm not clear on the "invalid markup" portion. Aren't `data-*` attributes valid for all tags in HTML5? Also, if you really don't want them you can render with `React.renderToStaticMarkup`.
