proper insertion points in completions akin to older Visual Studio templates would probably be ideal, but you can use ctrl + right arrow in vscode to accept completions one word at a time, rather than a whole block with tab.

That is because apple doesn't ask you, it just turns it on. If you don't accept changes to their terms of service (As I haven't) you'd get these notifications fairly regularly.

You're quite correct about the Lack. They're cheap as hell (15 bucks at time of writing?), but as a result quite manipulatable, such as creating 3d printer enclosures [0]. You can see some of their insides as they go through the p

What you're describing is fairly close to Intel's Beast Canion NUC [0] from a couple of years back. The Mobo and GFX essentially sit back to back. Though intel seemed to envisage upgrading the whole "CPU side" as a singl

I run a pair as my DNS. For me they're mostly there to block tracking over ads. Approx 10% of my DNS lookups get eaten by it using the standard ad list. Ublock / privacy badger grabs a bunch, the piholes still kill a bunch more.

This was my thought as well, chip production has to be so necessarily automated to maintain a clean state that it feels like the cost of engineers to maintain systems is always going to be high, but also a small cost of the overall system.
