The worst thing is when things start getting sensored and you get the creeping feeling that the sensored content is the only true content. Then you just go back in your hole, try not to read the news, and cry a lot.

This is exactly the kind of tutorial I've been waiting for for years. The way blocks and breaks work is especially non-intuitive if you are used to either assembly or regular languages, and you START with it. Good work, really loving t

Love this! I love tutorials which fulfill these requirements like [1]. I'm making my language fngi using these principles as much as possible as well, and my whole civboot project is in pursuit of exactly this ideal. [1]: https:/

I think it's good to think outside the box. Maybe incorporating some tried and true Unicode would make sense. However, I don't think the issue is ASCII but rather consistency. I'm making a C-competetor language and using &quo

Reducing the actions of people to objects or "simpler organisms" is rarely a helpful concept. Often people are much more complicated than our reductions of them.

I feel that many issues are not only a confusion of values, but a confusion of what values even _are_. There is some cookie cutter bullshit about what is "good" or "bad" and this is used to paint a broad and incoherent p

Permaculture and food forests could probably solve a lot of problems, but although they are more efficient than equivalent non-mechanized agriculture they are very difficult to scale with mechanization. Solve that problem and we could solve

Looking at the code examples I fail to see how this is a fundamental change from other full stack languages such as JavaScript, rust, C, C++, Nim.... The list goes on. Not that that is a bad thing! I'm happy your working on it, but I d

I'm a huge fan of the ideas behind this library. Using the stable ABI of "magic numbers" is brilliant. Would love to see this solution gain more usage!
