Strange - I was under the impression that GIF was larger than mp4: http://blog.embed.ly/post/89265229166/what-twitter-isnt-tell...

Larry Page has his office in the G+ building, and has said a number of times he is committed to seeing G+ be a success. http://www.virante.org/blog/2013/04/23/is-google-still-the-f... There is a lot of h

I was wrong re: ps4's library name. Thanks for the article. I left the games industry just before the transition to the new consoles.

I certainly did confuse the RSX (ps3 GPU) with libGCM (the ps3 GPU library). I haven't forgotten that OpenGL ES isn't OpenGL - it's OpenGL minus all of the garbage. It's also true that Xbox 360 did not use DirectX. But t

It's far more trivial to port now that PC and Next-Gen consoles are all X86.

Both PS4 and Xbox One are now on the X86 architecture. They also share the same GPU (with minor differences). PS4 runs a BSD derived OS with a Sony-specific graphics library called RSX (very similar to OpenGL, but much lower level). Xbox 36

Agreed. http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/130152/the_ten_most_im... The patents on video game controllers alone might be enough to kill them. Remember the Sony/Microsoft rumble debacle?

True in practice, but on a blackboard during an interview, it obviates the need to recode for the follow-up "now reverse the string in place" request.

Shouldn't that be --j in your reverse function? Anyhow, when asked to write those on a blackboard, I typically do this: size_t strlen(char* start) { char* end=start; while(*end) ++end; return (end-start); } and v
