I moved last year back to my home country from the uk, and did the final trip on my motorbike. Midway I realized I was missing an offline map of a country I was about the be passing through the next day. I had an unlimited data plan with tr

I can relate. Sometimes I'm browsing a page, and zoom in (control+) to make the text larger. But then the webpage switches to its mobile view. So it seems like we've broken desktop accessibility in favour to the mobile one.

I get where you're going with this, and I agree with the general point. But my emacs with ctags only does local method lookups, so that's not really my case.

Lines of code is a bad metric for complexity. Jquery is a thin wrapper over javascript, whereas React has a comparable size but is a significantly higher level abstraction.

Funny thing. The company I worked for, bought me a 1440p ultrawide screen to use on my mac at (the same I used home on my linux workstation). It displayed no scaling options whatsoever - NONE. Other displays (4k 16:9) shown it but not that.

I agree but only partially, because this needs to be enabled by default to get the most out of it. The issue is that few people use firefox, and even fewer have this flag enabled, and as such it makes you stand out.

To be fair - if you make a website named flatkill you're signalling you don't want a dialog with the developers, and just expect them to throw in the towel and call it quits. Later edit - just to be clear, it's the kill part
