I'm not sure there are many government web services run by actual government employees.

Holy cow, I totally forgot about SGU. Used to listen all the time, but it just fell off my radar. I bet this last year has been insane.

Am a virologist, and this is over-hyped, but not for that reason. The PKR/dsRNA response pathway is activated by a number of non-dsRNA viruses. There are double-stranded intermediates for lots of viruses, including herpesviruses, that

To do this kind of very broad genomic analysis, you need a set of markers to compare. These markers, or easy identifiable orthologs, need to be present in most/all the organisms in the comparison. Ribosomal RNA is a well studied marker

I'd say a majority of accredited schools also have very high dissertation acceptance rates. That is, you have been counseled by your adviser and other professors (a thesis committee) as to how things are going. They typically give you

It's not feasible to culture them all. We don't know what kind of culture medium to use for every species. Some species of bacteria require other species of bacteria to grow. In other words, we don't know what we don't k

It's kind of fun to stay in somebody else's place. I do think there's something to be said for that. And, it IS frequently cheaper than a hotel. Many times, depending on where you're staying, it could also be more conven

I think this is the biggest point taxi companies fail to grasp. I NEVER consider taxis. I would sooner walk than take a taxi. Uber doesn't have the same grody, sketchy perception that taxis do. I have never had to call Uber on an Uber
