Maybe I am misunderstanding you somehow, but you can turn off Issues without archiving a repository, I have several like that. If I attempt to navigate to `/issues`, it redirects me to `/pulls`. And the Issues tab is not visible w

This could summarize every interaction I’ve had with Web Components since the beginning. Web Components are becoming the Nuclear Fusion of Web standards.

Reminds me of a modern macOS version of “Everything” for windows. Love the concept! It would be interesting if there was an option to add additional devices, such as a MacBook or iPhone, and search across all of them at once. Alternatively

I have been using OrbStack for 8 months now for personal use. I haven’t experienced a single issue in that time, and use it daily. Can’t say that for much software to be honest.

Does not appear to handle open graph correctly. For example, it displayed pixelated favicons resized to fit their containers, rather than the `og:image` in the head tag.

It's difficult for me to tell how sincere your confession was, I am guessing you meant it in jest. But it is worth stating nonetheless. No one confesses when they search StackOverflow for something they've solved 100 times before,

StopTheMadness didn’t fit my needs iirc. I have heard “Redirect Web for Safari” is a decent alternative solution though, have yet to try it

I have been doing this using iOS Shortcuts and a regex for years. Except instead of old I redirect to a redlib instance.

Thanks for the clarification. The fact that there are developers out there that are willing to accept hour long compile times from the typescript compiler is disgusting. I’ve seen slow recursive types here and there, but you can analyze you

You can, you just need to define the private key. For example DOTENV_PRIVATE_KEY_PRODUCTION Would provide it with the information it needs to read .env.production

Dotenvx has a cloud hub from which the keys can be pulled. I imagine an eventual feature will be for the keys to expire, and you’ll have to re-authenticate with the cloud to get new credentials, just as you would with AWS.

Dotenvx used to encrypt by file. It’s a very recent design decision to encrypt by secret.

I still enjoy using GraphQL, because it has allowed my teams to move measurably faster when developing APIs over the last half-decade. Some organizations seem fairly allergic to full stack development, but it has broken that barrier in ways

I always wondered what the purpose of that extra “I” was in the CI variables `CI_PIPELINE_IID` and `CI_MERGE_REQUEST_IID` were for. Always assumed it was a database related choice, but this article confirms it.

The tech to do this exists, since WebRTC works without internet. One just needs to run a local server for signaling purposes. https://github.com/coturn/coturn

Fortunately none of the options above require installation. If properly invested in and maintained instead of being a toy open source project, they’d work seamlessly everywhere the web does.

The fact that a $5k bounty still exists for the original makes you wonder where the copy is going to be found. What content is being produced today that we will offer a $25k dollar bounty for in 50 years? Perhaps something in Roblox or Mine

I have used all of these solutions, including the one you shared in the past. Some of them used to work better than they do now, I imagine with browsers updating and the software going unmaintained, it hasn't left them in a great state

You can actually dig up plants before the first frost and winter them in the house. I do this for a variety of them. Just make sure to trim away anything that’ll track in bugs / disease, and keep them in a temperate climate.
