Thanks for clarifying this. This is what I meant when I said "Why would you want a job you are not qualified to do." I am not so good with words sometimes... Haha...

Thanks for sharing. I think this is a good data point to prove that most people will not cheat on their take home. There is no incentive to cheat. Why would you want a job you are not qualified to do. From your experience, it sounds like th

That's actually awesome. There is a lot of stigma around "duplicate" posts. But I think in the context of showing different angles of the same story, that would be cool.

I want to join the NYTimes and build a "chronicle" feature. I hate how news stories develop overtime, but there is nothing to "chronicle" the story from beginning to end. Linking to related stories is a temporary fix, bu

I've been looking through hundreds of job ads for about a month now. This is honestly one of the best. They are putting emphasis on your passionate and fit, rather listing random technology stacks and bs requirements. Bravo NYTimes. Pr

I remember going through that thread and seeing all these people refusing to accept the data. On what they call a "leftist" site, they question how an extremely toxic alt-right subreddit could be so heavily blocked. It's iron

Spot on. It's like going to a vegetarian restaurant and being upset there's no meat on the menu. I don't understand all these people complaining that reddit does not have enough differing opinions. What the hell? Do you expec

It always seem odd to me that on a site where people are expert at algorithms and problem solving, lots of people here cannot deduce this very simple "therefore" scenario. Or maybe people just really hate duck typing :)

Your comment is music to my ears. I can think of like a million other things I would rather do than work (and I actually really enjoy working). Build the app I always wanted, learn assembly, travel, backpack, garden, volunteer, read etc...

If you read and understood the article, this comment is really disingenuous. It does not in any way reflect the sentiment of the writer.

Agreed. For whatever reason, my mind really gravitate towards the idea of bang being a mutator. That should have been a standard. `delete` always gets me.

I don't understand. Are those five stories suppose to be representative of today's unemployment problems? Because if they are. We need more social programs to help these people. Not more "job creators".

Nope not the same. This, like all the other products, is a NETWORK tuner. Meaning, the signal comes out to a cat5. So you need a "PC" to receive the signal. The TiVo has a HDMI-out, so you can hook it directly to your TV.

I also commit like 20 things to get Heroku working properly. But after I am done with that, I `rebase` it into one commit. Then I push it into my `origin/master`, and force push `heroku/master`.
