This reads like a typical hatchet job with the usual fallacy of extrapolating from "didn't immediately succeed" to "is impossible".

Is it time of the weekly thread for yet another tool that writes useless commit messages that completely miss the point of a commit message?

It does sound pretty problematic from a FOSS point of view. > You must use the app for legal, authorized and acceptable purposes. In particular the "authorized" and "acceptable" part. Authorized by whom? Acceptable t

I assert that you are a Russian agent personally appointed by Vladimir Putin, paid $250,000 through a bank in the Cayman Islands, tasked with sowing discord in the US by posting fictitious stories on Hacker News. Care to comment?

Given the level of radioactivity, it's safe to say you should not eat an excessive number of these tiles.

To be clear the advanced tech doesn't actually have to be manoeuvering in amazing ways. It could be an electronic warfare system that messes with sensors to make it appear so.

It's US chauvinism that leads people here assume that any advanced tech beyond our capabilities must be magic or aliens. The US isn't the only country with secret military research projects.

The device sounds like it was designed to separate the gullible from their money, so the price point was well optimized for that.

So when were things better according to you? During the 2010s post-housing-bubble crash? The 2000s with the dotcom bubble and 9/11 and subsequent wars? 1990s AIDS epidemic? 1980s with Reagan's trickle-down economics and all the in

Literally no other merchant does this. That includes VRBO which is pretty directly comparable.

Evety other merchant manages to deal with this without this level of invasiveness though.

To be completely honest it sounds like being a trust fund baby is the right "job" for you. It sounds like you just want to stay in your comfort zone, not do anything that your don't consider "fun", and don't wa

I agree 100%. They had good ideas like being able to prioritize/blacklist sites from results. But ultimately they just seem to be chasing every gimmick instead of focusing on building a good product.

What do you think happens to the trash after it "disappears down the chute"? You might not haul it to the curb yourself but the building as staff still has to unless you're in a building big enough to have a loading dock that

You would need to install power lines on every single street for that to work. Streetcars for transportation can just electrify a few routes.

Mostly for legacy reasons... my KeepassXC Android ssh setup predates setting up syncthing. I suppose I could change it to syncthing but it works well as is and there's no real reason to.

I use keepassxc to store my password. The Android app syncs with a file stored on my home server via SSH. No need to sync it manually, the Android app automatically checks for remote changes and copies the file over when you make changes on
