I’m one of those weird people that still watches DVDs on my Mac. A couple years ago they rewrote the dvd app and dropped a ton of handy features. It’s very barebones now.

Look up the alzheimer’s is caused by pathogens hypothesis. If my parents start to develop alzheimer’s I will push for antivirals and antibiotics. Nothing to lose at that point. Edit: > The infectious hypothesis proposes that a pathogen (

I would never use a company that thinks I’m a child that needs a bedtime. This also assumes everyone wakes up in the morning and has a normal schedule.

The same thing was assumed right before the first world war. Back then we also had globalization. It didn’t prevent the war and globalization didn’t return until after the second world war.

Couldn’t we just fallback on older fabs in Europa and the US? Turn back the clock to 2005 instead of the 80s.

You also need to compare the right cpu. M1 Ultra cpu is the equivalent of the fastest threadripper. Which costs $3990. So a pc with similar performance would be $7500

I don’t think that’s true. Otherwise, Mastercard/Visa/Paypal wouldn’t have waited this long. I think Russia is being ‘canceled’. They have become toxic to companies. It’s PR related, not because of government orders.

To be fair, NATO was initially opposed to expansion but the ex-Warsaw pact countries really pushed for it. They were afraid of Russia.

I'm fairly sure that's the norm almost everywhere. It's not just to prove they can take it, hospitals like to use students as free labor. I know it happens in Western Europe.

The “environmental movement” is still fighting nuclear. Where are the lawsuits to stop nuclear plants by big oil? There aren’t any. Greenpeace on the other hand has made it their mission. The greens are responsible for the higher emissions
