A 10% turnover rate in 4 months is pretty high, though I don’t know their baseline.

On the other hand, the skill measured by those kind of tests (which I agree are good and not “hackable”) is of very limited value for a lot of students who just need to get by with the basics intuitions.

Thank you. Artiswitch vibes? I'd stay in a Hotel room like this, but definitely wouldn't live in it for long.

Jenkins is not the ideal place. We take some scripts and create pipelines that just invoke them. Some of these are configured to be scheduled jobs. We have separate declarative pipelines for each one. But this isn’t good, we have Airflow an

How can someone write an article like this and don’t include a single picture of how maximalism looks like today?

Substitute it with a less impersonal medium. Send them emails or given them a call to chat about latest stuff. For friends you can have WhatsApp/Signal/Whatever. Replace broadcasting with a duplex channel.

I don’t care about hypermedia in particular, but it is intriguing how one can say that “apps are just forms” and justify all that tooling. Might as well just go with CouchDB.

If they were truly one-off, you wouldn't need to manage them. Categorize and document. SQL queries for analytics go into something like Metabase. Database migrations go into git. Frequent adhoc scripts go into something like Jenkins so
