An Elegant Puzzle by Will Larson was very interesting. It's a bit of a handbook and you don't necessarily have to read it cover to cover but instead you can dive into whichever section that is relevant for you at the moment: http

Very interesting to use a redux (re-frame) like programming model for building native desktop UI's. I have done some basic stuff with it and it sure seems powerful. For anyone interested there will be a virtual meetup 16:th of April 6P

Great to see people putting effort into making Clojure(Script) more accessible! As much as I like the language and the community, it historically wasn't a very beginner friendly place in my opinion. Not that people weren't friendl

I can recommend hugsql to anyone who wants to work with SQL in Clojure. You basically write pure SQL with some minor templating helpers and then you get the data in a map with Clojure data types. Very nice and minimal overhead: https:

While Rust is great, one of the things I love with LISP (Clojure) is once you spend 3 min learning the syntax you know it or can guess the syntax in 99% of cases. No need to look up how to do something complicated, just look at the order of

In comparison to SF/LA/NY etc. we have very few homeless people in Scandinavia. If I were to speculate then I think our extensive social security systems (free healthcare & education etc.) is the reason why. But then we all pa

A lot of people agree that while Clojure has a lot of powerful things going for it, documentation is not one of them, eg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YCkOo5Y4Oo It's definitely overwhelming in the beginning but af

I program mostly in ClojureScript which will "throw" a compiler warning if I misspell a variable. But to get that in an editor is a bit more setup than to just fire up vanilla vim.
