How about a google glass like device, that we all wear all the time, and the camera runs all the time, and sends face pictures of people with the GPS coordinates and the timestamp? This is all fun to talk about, but none of these is going t

Isn't this standard practice in other industries too? Change something so slightly, simply to hold on to copyright/patent?

The thing that bothers me is this - any service that we use and are happy with, can be bought by FB. Then FB would own all of that data - so it doesn't matter if we don't use FB - first instagram, now whatsapp (there are probably

There is some truth in "finding something that you're good at that the other person isn't" - but not all "somethings" are equal. Certain things are flashier, and more intimidating than others - for example, yo

Very true. [But] At least he did walk away and is doing something good, unlike thousands of other wall streeters who haven't, and who never will - that's something to keep in mind (I'm not defending him though).

Isn't this just a checklist? Something like (for a tutorial type post): 1. Are the steps outlined clear enough? 2. Are appropriate screenshots included? 3. Are error messages explained? etc etc?

I'm not a student, and can't pay tons of money to attend either. That leaves volunteering as the only option. I'd be more than happy if I can find a good organization to volunteer with. Do you know of any?
