The problem is not with .NET itself, it's Microsoft. I don't even consider using VsCode as main editor because it's from MS.

I have planned something like this when I was mentally down years ago. Basically a dead man switch, where it would send an email to my family if I did not extend it every 3 months. Yeah, I might forget, but I am a neat and good with memory

I ran Airflow on a small scale (+50 dags), and have used it for like 5 years. Yeah, it's painful. I consider myself an Airflow veteran after many db upgrade failures, daily operations... but still failed to make it work sometimes. But

I think the sweet point in Apple SoC is now they control both CPU, GPU and memory so they can optimize the price. If they make a discrete GPU, the margin will not be that high and will be less attractive.

I see a lot of comments mention getting family will solve some problems. I agree. It is like distractions, to keep you busy and away from those unhealthy thoughts. Maybe I will have to accept that I will never find the answer for all of thi

Well said. I have been thinking like you and OP: never wanted to settled down , didn't want to be tied down to anything. Now, I have married, and planning to get a child. I kind of gave up and let wherever life/fate lead me to. Ho

I know it looks cool, but it is just not a single file. I guess most simple way still is spin up a HTTP server using Python.

People just want to show their works, it's normal. What I found strange is that not many people seems to be surprised about this and upvote.

Because it's Amazon? They have money, power and control over all books publishing. And to me, it's not broken. For something I rarely use, it's fine.

I don't use C to make web API, the same for Rust. Not because it's impossible, but there are better suitable tools for the job.

I tried to do this but every 2 hours, or using wakatime for IDE. But even that seems too much and I dropped after about 3 months. 15 minutes? The author must be really disciplined, also the logging process must be short and efficient.
