   FWIW, I exported all my Evernote notebooks just recently from my old free account. Used https://github.com/akosbalasko/yarle to convert them to Markdown. It also has support for various PKB formats, like Obsidian. Hope

   You can also use it for both ctrl and esc with a little help by Hammerspoon ( http://hammerspoon.org ), e.g. I've been using this for the past year and it works great https://github.com/jasonrudolph/keybo

   "Feel the fear and do it anyway" by Susan Jeffers. Read it while end of my university studies and a big reason to why I moved and now lives abroad (over a decade ago now). "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. Lots of life

   Interesting! I had a similar thoughts, but didn't want to start from scratch (I include Electron in this definition). Instead, I went with implementing it as a Atom package to leverage its community and other text-editing features. See
