Their product is advertised as "Managed EDR". That usually means they employ a SOC that will review alerts and then triage and orchestrate responses accordingly. The use case here is when your IT manage chooses to deploy this and

They mention in the write up that they correlated certain indicators with what they had seen in other attacks to be reasonably sure they knew this was an active attacker. The problem to me is that this is the kind of thing you'd expect

"Serverless" refers to the demarcation point in the shared responsibility model. It means there aren't any servers about as much as "cloud hosting" means the data centers are flying.

Any faculty who doesn't think they need to teach basic English writing in the age of AI should be aggressively let go from their posts. As it stands they are just glorified plagiarism instructors.

This can only end with punitive federal measures. Of course every 80 IQ school superintendent is going to push for whatever tech cuts costs at the expense of the kids' education.

Yeah in your situation the student who used a calculator to avoid learning literally all arithmetic, to include basic multiplication tables, is going to be poorly served by their teachers. What the hell are you on about

Are high school teachers too lazy to do essays in class like they always were 20 years ago? Stop fucking using Google Drive or whatever. Start teaching these children like you used to do not so long ago. For FUCK'S sake.

As I mentioned in a reply to the other comment, this often means you have your ordering mixed up. As an example, here's what you original statement said (with some grammar corrected): "Most times A happens before B, but the order

I actually just tried this out using a HN dataset from HuggingFace today. I did # of comments with emdash / total comments. It shot up in 2018 for some reason and then, at the very end of the dataset, seemed to start spiking late 2024.
