One of my favourite lines ever! Note, it wasn't from the perspective of inside the craft but rather the towns people huddled in a bunker in Bellingham.

Not a mapmaker but Foundry VTT is a onetime purchase of 50USD (and a pretty flexible license at that) that is free to players. You do have to self host (LAN is easy of course) or pay a hosting partner a monthly fee on top of the license cos

I can attest to the utility of Dungeon Alchemist... very fast. In an hour or so I had made a small inn/tavern my players will start at and a wilderness encounter map they will do after that, before getting into the manor I built the da

You can't run your code locally, but VSCode (but NOT VSCodium sadly) has a set of remote development plugins (ssh, containers, etc) that allow you to edit locally, run on a remote server. Also see code-server ( https://github

Nope, they predate the Heroku changes by a number of years. I did have occasional outages (lost db connection). They seems to usually resolve themselves. I ended up shutting down the (unused) app since it was under attack.

I went with a single monitor, a 34" curved ultrawide (3440x1440). Nearly triple (ish), more than dual monitor for sure and I love it. The price difference to go for the 38"(3840x1440?) was nearly triple the cost and was no worth
