The point of learning powershell is not because it is some great shell, but the available bindings to many subsystems, that allow you to admin them; including many toggles and options, that are not available in any gui. Bash running in wsl

Their dedicated controllers use AOSP under the hood. But since they control entire device, there's no need for Play Framework, Play Store and whatever is needed for certification just to ship it.

I would be very surprised, if Blender Cycles ever ran on top of OpenGL or Vulkan other than using OpenGL or Vulkan as a loader for compute shaders. That's why it is running as CUDA/OptiX/HIP/oneAPI on Windows and Linux.

All three big vendors (Nvidia, AMD, Intel) and also bunch of ARM SoC vendors do have specialized blocks in their graphic solution whose only purpose is to decode and encode specific codec profiles. It is hardware decoding, not decoding on G

The middle-finger update seems to be geo-fenced. On my fully updated shield, the launcher is almost the same as the original one -- it just got a new apps tab on the top; no recommendations, no ads. So hopefully it will stay that way.

There's no business edition. There's Home, Pro, Enterprise (E3, E5); with variants for N (no media) and Education. That's it. Enterprise doesn't have Appstore crap preinstalled, and has some features that you wouldn'

Consumers can easily get the Pro edition instead of Home. There used to be even a update purchase link in some control.exe applet. It is the Enterprise and LTSC editions, that consumers do not have access to. But for the purposes above, Pro

With your own keys, you mean adding your MOK (machine owner key), or going the entire way, with the Microsoft ones removed? The first one is easy, the second one seems to be more complicated, especially if you have Option ROMs signed by the

You could, 802.11r/k/v just provides some nice hints for faster transitions, but ultimately it is up to the client, whether it is used or not. Mesh, however, it is not about roaming (i.e. multiple APs with same ssid, clients conne

The tar.gz build has exactly the same problem (it just doesn't complain about it): it needs to close the files from the old package and open the ones from the new package. Hence the restart. You can minimize the downtime by just restar

wifi7 has MLO, which will contribute to devices getting satisfied with their data sooner and not asking for more timeslots. 4096 QAM will also, however marginally, contribute to this effect.
