I heard it can be hard to see our center black hole because we are on the Galaxy disk so we have to look through a lot of light pollution and dust things to see it?

Yeah their "genius bar" left a lot to be desired, I switched away for that reason. At first they were great, but over the years the one I went to just stopped really trying and instead shifted more to sales.

So how come it's a ring of plasma that forms and not a sphere? Like we can see the hole unobstructed? Is it because gravity tends to clump things together? I guess Saturn's rings are the same?

I stopped paying attention when Silver said the Buckeyes only had a 2 percent chance to win the title, because I knew that was bogus, team was stacked. Then he did the same thing with the Cavs when they turned around and won, so it just see

I think the design is pretty great, we have a virtual fighter combat system with training, (and many hardcore fighter game fans appreciate Virtua fighters mechanics) we have an arcade with actual games from the era, we have a gacha system.

Well the forklift part only happens for a very short window, so it sounds like those people didn't really play through it. The point was Ryo needed to raise money after a thing happens.

I don't think so personally, because the game is something that should be experienced. Just reading about it, is like reading about food. I'm not saying don't read it, I'm saying if you want to play the game, consider p

"Could we agree that it would still be insignificant even if Amazon fought to drop that vote?" No I don't think we could agree here, because if it was significant to the company, then the stock holders would demand the hair c

If it was insignificant then there would be no fight over it, Amazon would drop it. The fact that Amazon does not drop it, means there is significance. It's a catch 22

Well the prototypal inheritance stuff is newish for Java people, so I can see a desire for class based, and then there is that closure private variable thing when it is nicer to just have a private keyword. (I think they use let now?) Sti

Plane seems like a really good fit for it's role. Would be pretty cool to meet the engineers that designed it.

Predicting portals is still far from that though. Like I would be ejected to the other side? And gravity would stop pulling me in? I could see a burst of energy somehow.

I'm just confused, I thought a black hole was where gravity was so strong light could not escape it just starts looping back on itself like a coin in a large funnel, then how could we escape? We would just spiral down the drain? Why wo

I don't think you should be down voted, you asked a good question. I don't think everything has to have a "point".

Agree, Amusing Ourselves to Death is really good. I like the idea about how reading books impacts how deep we think. Also His comparison of the Lincoln Douglas debates to modern presidential debates. Not a long read either, about 200 pages

Stoicism was a coping mechanism for a brutal world. You see the same ideas in Eastern Philosophy as well. An example is that people lost children much more often.

I like Kibler's rotation idea, you have classics that come in and out of play. I think Baku and Genn were kind of broken and needed the changes.
