I agree, great article. Its not that you're a luddite - its simply that the internet went from an exuberant, wild representation of reality, to a constrained, extractive. corporate 'shop front'. All facilitated by government

Yes, most people think it's fine to initiate harm. It's foundational to the state. It's a choice to accept this, and go along with it.

It's refusing to accept that there is a moral basis for initiating force or harm against another. Now this world really does operate by force, and spends a lot of resources to accommodate its citizens to its force - education, culture,

The consumer element is the sugar to help the masses swallow the pill. If it was just about the consumer, the unit would never report its findings back to base. But blurting back your information is integral to, well, all smart devices.

My opinion is that google only ever presented as a new type of company - without ever being that. It was marketing spin - and I bought into that. I since found out it was funded from inception by inqtel, the CIA's venture capital arm.

No. I'm fine for people do drugs, if that's what they want to do. Their life, their choice. As long as they aren't harming anyone else. Do drugs recreationally if you like, with the person you're in a relationship wi

No doubt there are exceptional cases for taking a drug. But promotion of mdma as a solution to relationship problems seems unhinged. That's what I object to. Downvote away!

Perhaps yours is a needlessly optimistic way to look at things. Lasting for decades might not be a good thing. I know this is an unpopular opinion, and it is absolutely fine by me for others to do exactly as they see fit, but I really do t

There are possible causes that simply cannot be considered on account of the level of investment that big pharma has sunk into that sort of treatment. No investigations are undertaken whereas such a cause should be a consideration. IMO.
