I keep saying this, but i feel so ripped off with FSD. Why? 1. If i sell, it does not transfer to the new owner. Edit: people disputed this - but i think this only happens if you also hand over the account. Either way, given this write up

Yeah, it’s just dense. Lots of great info in these things but you should know most of it from memory or only need it on the ground. It’s a legal requirement to carry in the plane but i don’t think I’ve ever needed one while in the air…yet

Not sure if you've ever seen the POH for a C172, but it is thick. Example: https://www.montereynavyflyingclub.org/Other%20Docs/Cessna-1... Personally, ATC is your best bet here. I'd say a lot of people who ha

I’m getting old because this reminds me of a time when I built a Url shortener years back. We needed about 30m unique short urls and at the time 3rd parties were expensive and a bit annoying for our use case. The project was successful but

Sometimes recompiling into a new version of Xcode is required and that can result in very painful edits. While locally you can do whatever, apple often requires you to be using a very recent sdk (sometimes for good reasons like OS security

So i actually use these shortcuts all the time! I think im more struggling with some edge case of my multi screen setup, im not sure. I just find myself having to do the full expand of all windows and then find the one i want to get things

As someone that came from a windows world for the first 10ish years of my career, i found this pretty frustrating too. I honestly still do. Sometimes it feels like I just cannot get to the window I want.

The JS standard library is very slim. I think this is both its greatest strength and weakness, and to your point, makes it likely that people just install some random package v's solve the problem themselves. I'm not sure which is

I think this is a good piece of advice. Consider a) someone else to talk to b) maybe see them less frequently if things are legitimately good.

Something i started doing which has been invaluable has been getting a therapist. Being a founder is freaking painful at times, working on yourself is a lot more than getting good at sales, taxes, technical skills...developing leadership sk

Maybe it’s a generational thing. I used to buy 50 packs for $25 AUD, the cases were the most expensive part…if you really needed them.

I recall as a kid, soldering circuit boards. I distinctly remember the label "low lead" and also the smell of the smoke it made. At times, and this is stupid, i would find myself chewing on a piece of the unburnt solder as i debug

Maybe. I actually use node much more often, i don't even recall the last time i used a make file in production, i just find parsing json as a human to be rather painful.

While i agree, I’ve spent literal days fighting with node modules in recent months. Sure make isn’t perfect either but it’s a lot less, confusing? Ie json isn’t a language for humans, but often you really need to read it to correct some iss

Also, solo founder. Consider working on your relationship skills. A cofounder can be a pain in the ass but also the best way to find sucesss.

JS can interact with an RPC endpoint directly, but the individual would have to provide one (either as you're suggesting via a proxy) or directly in code. This project is actually by a friend of mine, i should ask him...ive never bothe

Odd side note but i see they’re spelling it “NewCastle” which prompted you to make it two words. I assume it’s in reference to the Newcastle coal port? Can anyone confirm. I grew up in the town, so the spelling caught my eye.

Except it’s really not that anymore. Constant noise disruptions, gridlocking the city…it’s causing harm and the protests have damaged property, businesses and even gone as far to dance on the war memorials. These are not our best people.

So, i consider myself very conservative when it comes to this stuff. I'd honestly say 90% is a scam, 10% is legit innovation and valuable. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

Any time i see anything on BSC my immediate reaction is "scam". It's actually hard to find legitimate projects there, so hard i'm surprised anyone continues to launch when there are alternatives like Fantom, Avalanche or
