There's nothing wrong with it per se. To each their own. I don't see playing soccer or rock climbing as "distraction", on the contrary. I mean distraction as in distracting your mind from the present moment. For example,

That sounds awfully reductive. While it's obviously true that many blockchain-based businesses are/were just trying to cash in on hype alone, that doesn't mean that ALL ideas involving a blockchain are bad.

Very interesting, I've been on the lookout for something like this for a long time and it still surprises me how few out-of-the-box, open source, E2E encryption solutions there are available (especially for us Europeans...). One thing

It's funny how the author went for React for the frontend, even though Angular + Nest.js are a much more synergistic duo. He even structured the application like a typical Angular app.... Why not simply just go with Angular? :D

I think the definitions and models (the four path model specifically) from the pragmatic dharma crowd are the most interesting by far. Mostly because they can be tested. It's (Theravada) Buddhism stripped of a lot of the religious dogm

Is this always "wrong" though? Of course if you load analytics.js from a 3th party server before consent, that's wrong. If you load it AND start tracking before consent, that's very wrong. On the other hand I don't

It's downvoted partly because of the reasons other commenters have given and also because it shows ignorance about the drug market and about LSD specifically. Why participate in the discussion when you are not informed?

This just confirms the sentiment shared in the article by Jeff Cross in March. It's very, very disconcerting. Especially for people who've been working with Angular(JS) for years, like me. A fish rots from the head. At a certain p

I second this. If you can look past the "Goenka dogma", these 10-day retreats offered around the world are a great way to experience life raw and without distraction of technology or otherwise, in meditation.
