I didn't cite any numbers. You can look up the age discrepancies between AM/FM during the early 80s. FM was dominated by the 12-24 demo, but the music industry was attached to AM and reacted slower to audience research back then.

HTML has its own syntax, including closing tags and quotes around attribute values. Since HTML is the benchmark here, are you suggesting semicolons at the end of statements are harder than either of these?

It's theoretical physics. Metaphysically and experimentally, the question may be absurd, but the exercise of calculating entropy for potential universes could still yield novel understandings about the actual universe.

While I agree with your overall point, a longstanding previous trend does not indicate a present trend. This is a popular "fallacy fallacy". The metrics of evaluation can change while dumbing down still occurs. If you look at the

This type of article pops up every year, but the argument always presents a false dichotomy. Yes, most things don't need to be SPAs or implement cutting-edge CSS features. That doesn't mean you have to build your website in pure H

Cultivars are highly regional. About half of the apples on this list are ones I recognize as being generally available in the US, depending on the time of year, but I'm not sure how the others were chosen.

The ratings aren't serious, but I like the idea of having a "go to" site that simply provides a rating, brief description, and that's it. It would be great to have something like this for movies, since IMDB and RT are no

Good read, thanks. Are there any users of Gitless among us? I'm curious to know if anyone is using it full time.

Didn't know about Palermo FC, thanks. MLS counts too, I guess, though no one really watches it yet.

It's interesting that no professional sports team has decided to go full pink as one of their primary uni colors. It would be an amazing branding opportunity. The closest I've seen is Miami Heat's Vice unis https://

In what way has the parent poster been "radicalized" compare to, say, the average Trump supporter? If everything is radical, then nothing is radical.

I'm a bit bewildered by these memory complaints. RAM usage on desktop applications hasn't been an issue for 20ish years. Open up your process manager once in a while.

You know, you don't have to buy anything new. It's not a violation of your principles to buy a used Mac from 2017.

It could be a nice side effect, but it's probably not the primary reason. Zoomers and gen alpha users are fickle consumers, and engagement drops when they are presented with "old" content. Google has the competence to build a

The screen reader cares about the big stuff, such as using headings, tables, and lists correctly. And of course, implementing ARIA attributes correctly. Other than that it doesn't matter too much.

To be fair, "Oxford" begins with "O", and, as far as contemporary/flat ring logos go, this is one of the better examples I've seen. It is an attractive logo, even if the ethos of the previous logo is lost.

Within the fonts that aren't monospace, some fonts have less variation in glyph width than others. It's a spectrum. You can choose a font that is mostly monospace, but not completely, to confer benefits for readability. If all you
