This is very close to what the ruby REPL will accept. I tried to paste in the kitchen sink - it didn't like dangling decimals and the comment format, everything else worked as expected.

you need to use throwing star 4 times before it will give you access to exploding star. If you use any other star, it costs you in "charge" All of his is not clear - he plans to make it more clear for the next version
