My apologies mate, I sort of went off on a tangent. My main point was really that advertisements are (as evolved from my Internet usage) that most are completely invisible to me.

Surely a quick glance at a website and the content will let you know immediately whether it's worth the time to read it? What you've said is interesting too -- isn't that what Ssvbtle tried to create? A network of honesty, jo

Thank you heaps for your comment! I'm not quite sure why I am being down-voted though. To clarify my browsing habits are at the point where if I do see an intrusive advertisement or something that is just words rather than a coherent b

I'm not sure that I like this. I know it's not really like Adblock or whatever it's called. I never notice advertisements, and I am surprised more people aren't the same. You've been doing the same thing for years

I tried ownCloud out very recently and was astonished at the simple things you couldn't do. For example, via the 'sharing' function, you only can share to an image, wrapped in HTML, or via direct download. I just want to...

Technically (for those who don't know) they allow multiple currency transactions from one/single account. So you may have 1,000 NZD but it's made out of USD, PHP, AUD etc

Use... Notes?! You know, money... Coins?! Who uses coins? Secondly nobody is going to refuse 5 payments from 5 cards either or they don't get paid. Simple.

Couldn't you use something like Google Alerts, but don't tell your customers that, just show the results in a more prettified and "tailored" way to them. ;-)

I don't know about this. I know I can have rather nasty nightmares, but I don't remember them when I wake up. That's a good thing. If I was lucid dreaming, bad things would probably still happen. Does anyone have any experien

Yup. I know plenty of 80 year olds into ultra marathon running in high country NZ (extremely tough to run) and yet, I'm pretty sure they're not going to "beat death". No matter how fit and healthy they are. This article

Good advice. I find a lot of games (Steam-wise) do work natively. If your Macbook is powerful enough, running a windows vm works well too - or you can bootcamp. There's always the option to get a Thinkpad and run Linux. shrug Though
