This is probably due to DRM which is poorly supported by Linux (lazy devs will probably just exile Linux completely). But I do remember some linux-only decoder issues in the past. Decoder and codec support is just poorly signaled overall, e

A lot of people here are calling for the death of UAs, but this would be bad for video because capabilities are inconsistent across the web, and because APIs are incomplete or lie. For example, the "canPlayType" API for whether a

This makes no sense. Do you think that Americans go out drinking to get drunk arounds friends, but not to socialize with them?

It’s double edged so maybe not. I think if I needed to split wood I’d want a hatchet. With the hiking I like to do, I hike all day, boil water for food with a canister stove, and pass out. So I optimize for weight - less weight = more miles

Using a ka-bar for hiking is a terrible idea. At 0.7lbs it weighs as much as a quality sleeping bag/tent/pack. Also, you likely don’t need a knife. Scissors are much more useful, and micro scissors weigh less than an ounce. Ultral

This is a very consumerist world view (get big house, get fun toys) that not everyone believes in. I choose to live in a more vibrant city where I essentially trade my money for opportunity, experiences, and community.
