Not a big fan of vanilla tailwindcss too, but (from the perspective of someone that needs the job done) "just use modern CSS" as the author suggest is even worse.

If I have to build something that is basically logic on backend, forms, tables, some static pages, some interactivity here and there(btw is what most of the sites and web apps out there are) I don't need 3d or game engine capabilities

Timing is the key: if the burst happens, let's say, in the next 12-18 months apple is very well positioned, but every month without the bubble popping add pressure on apples executives and, at some point, the pressure will be so high t

I wasn't saying it isn't useful, I was saying that you cannot infer even the marginal cost of closed models. The K3 maths can turn true only if the models size is roughly the same and the labs didn't find any better way to ru

Just out of curiosity, based on what we know for sure they(OAI+A) make money on pure inference and lose on inference+training?

Only if you assume that at some point, for any reason, there will be "the model" that doesn't need costly retraining. I guess this is one of the reason Anthropic i so "active" for asking for a development break.

It doesn't matter who owns the debt, if the debt won't be repaid or refinanced a big black hole on someone's balance sheet of >1.65T will materialize! The consequences could be unpleasant.

Here we go. It's one of the 2 endgames of all companies involved in the AI race: - ADS - make the users that pay for tokens find a PMF for a product/service and then make the product/service their self

We are still in time for the "revolution" ... but it will take longer and won't look like than most thought. We still need a bubble pop to drive out all nonsense ideas and paths.
