Eh, I'm pretty sure Backbone and Knockout are more stable than React :) They didn't have a release since 2019. I mean, React itself is quite fine with backwards incompatibility. But how many completely backwards incompatible versi

Well, think about it like this. React had several major versions in recent years, and did remove several APIs. Also the whole thing with the new hotness of the hooks API (which, honestly, I just truly don't get). Angular had the whole

You’d think a simple report of all sales of a book within a period would solve all the issues. A simple table of: Timestamp, book, price Then author could simply calculate and verify royalties.

Huh? Firefox on macOS autoupdates quite fine. You do not need to download it manually.

Google thought Google+ was a very good idea. Didn’t mean that it was a good idea. Removing features from web platform is, at least for me, a very bad move. If only because that it will spawn millions of half-baked replacement libraries with

What? Why should we tolerate bad behavior? Only because it’s less bad than Microsoft’s? That is not a very high bar, you know.

This is what you get, when google has monopoly on the web platform. They will drop support for standards, because they want to and they can. And we won’t have any say in their decisions. I mean, the gall they have to shove their burden onto

So here I was wondering, why there is not a single article about this in Russian info-sphere. Apparently these restrictions were in action for quite some time [0]. But here we are, making news out of this :) [0] https://gpk.gov.b
