I understand Tesla picked the wrong lane and wanted to continue straight. As a human driver, why would you decide to cut across the gravel as opposed to go straight, find a place to u-turn and come back? If I missed a exit, I do not try to

All issues are political. However, this article is not an opinion piece, but a nice set of analysis based on public data. You can comment/criticize the analysis, bring out counterfactuals, point to other analysis etc.

How is that related to stopping pedestrians or bicyclists? Do you stop random people on the road to check for murder suspects?

Why is there so much hate on this thread? Is it hard to accept that blacks are discriminated against in US? Part of being intellectually curious is that data should be able to change your mind or have the opinion be reasonably falsifiable.

If you nibble a little on the edge, while eating everyone else who have saved it around the table, you get the western society. Haiti and DR got theirs eaten by France and Spain.

I am missing something that connects real estate ownership to WFH policies. Let us assume you have committed to real-estate and you cannot sub-lease it and you are on hook for paying for it. It does not matter whether it is occupied or unoc

I am very curious why you would want your house to look exactly like ( or coordinated) with your neighbor? One of the things I felt odd in US is that every house in a sub-division looks like they were made from cookie-cutter. Isn't exp

By definition, this is impossible to achieve. Assume that some person says I want what everyone else has. There is no post scarcity. It is better to think of it as meeting a set of pre-defined needs. These needs can change over time. for e.

The key difference is that as a multinational company, you have more options than as an individual. It would be even better if you have your company provide you services which are then written off as business expenses. Not having a US citiz

I am probably not the audience for this blog. I do not understand why being a bum is failing in life. Except for 1 reason (you put others down), I do not see anything wrong with being lazy, waking up late and going with the flow.
