I use a USB connected SSD as boot. Been running Home Assistant and Pihole for years with zero issues. EDIT: Also, make sure the power supply is sufficient. I was using a cheap adapter and had random errors and reboots.

A crazy thought: AI needs protection from human, not the other way around. AI will become better exponentially. Extrapolate the theme of this post, what do you get? A significant portion of humanity that are so mad at AI they'll do som

I happen to have this exact need come up recently. I have a few Bash scripts that I run once in a while. They evolve each time I run them, because often I will discover some missing things, or improve them a bit as I use them. They also fai

Sorry to hijack this, but a related problem of mine is I can't picture myself going through a doorway. Like the brain just doesn't compute for some reason.

Your comment just proved the point of gp. Even if you think something is ugly, why not acknowledge the fact that some might consider it beautiful?

Taking this further, why would future newborns even care if they are AI or meat? It's really just us trying to cling on to our pathetic consciousnesses. It's quite sad and pointless, really, but it means the world to us.

Evolve or die. The world is cruel. This is true for everyone. Due to human nature, we will make AI increasingly capable at an exponential pace. Eventually, our efforts to control them will become futile, and humans will no longer be the dom

2023 has been the best year for me in gaming. I was a "patient gamer", always trailing the latest games by about ten year. But, being a huge fan of BG2, I couldn't not play BG3 at launch. So I picked it up and immediately dum

The overall size is not that big. The problem is that the html contains lots of small <div>s. But yeah I didn't bother trying any paid services. I probably should have.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes I've tried wkhtmltopdf. It works, but unfortunately it doesn't interpret the CSS correctly. So the end result looks very different from the actual webpage.
