Haha, I actually think about this a lot. There are mechanical g-force meters you use when driving. The position of the needle is the acceleration (2nd derivative of position). The velocity of the needle would be the 3rd derivative. The acce

Very interesting. But I wish they also talked about the position/angle of the eyes and how it affects the perception.

This brings up an interesting question: What happens to games sold on Steam today, 10 years later? Will I still be able to play them on the latest OS then? If so, how would Steam implement it?

Are they serious? This reminds me of "it's already down 90%, only 10% left to drop". But it doesn't sound like they are joking in the article.

For me it's the opposite. I don't want to talk to someone in order to send money. Also, you never know how long/much it'll take to wire. Sometimes it's done free on the same day, other times it gets double charged a

How production-ready is Pijul? I heard about it some time ago and was super impressed. But apparently at the time it had issues, and was going to be re-written in a different language.

Looks nice, gonna try it out! I recently finished The Age of Decadence, which is a turn based story-heavy RPG. This game is what actually got me into Disco Elysium.

Like the other comment said, these are not exactly kid-friendly games. But! You just listed 2 of my all time favorite, and the other one is on top of my to-play list. Please list more games!

Define "tiny". Is 0.1% tiny? 0.01%? 0.001%? USDT maintains its peg by allowing certain entities to redeem USDT 1 to 1. How much USDT's price fluctuates depends on how well that mechanism works, and market conditions.

Came here to say this. One more thing to add: it's very likely that there are more competitors out there than the author realizes, and even more failed attempts at the same problem that the author never sees. I've made the mistake

I'm not familiar with Algorand. Has it had any event that's similar in scale to what's mentioned in the tweet? Every chain can scale until it can't. And then it's either high gas fees or centralization. If you solve

In the context of the tweet, it's not like we have a better alternative for "global scale DeFi" and not using it. Looking at the top L1s, you either have centralized chain and thus no integrity (e.g. Solana), or chains that a

There are plenty out there that trade between BTC/ETH and other coins, in the hope to increase their BTC/ETH holdings. There are atomic trades happening on DeFi that have to be denominated by ETH, because of gas costs. Looking at
