Simplicity would be having tags to categories the posts. Just like a library has the Dewey Decimal Classification system -- if it were not for that it would be just a chaotic heap of books. What if someone missed 3 months worth of posts and

This type of thing is only possible in an environment where there is roughly homogeneous values. When values diverge extremely on basic issues -- only 1 side will trust the tech owners not to shadow ban, astro turf, fake polls etc.

Individual migration is a very temporary solution. When the bank you just migrated to becomes a bit bigger -- it's the next target. Or some new law like digital ID's / one world currency make the migration irrelevant.
