I guess I'll ask since you strongly disagree and ignoring the fact this is very reductionist: In your opinion, what is the most meritocratic part of America?

It's good you also mentioned "(and Japanese)" regarding the propaganda machine. I don't think it will crash any time soon, but considering how much the economy is driven by the automotive industry, it's scary to see

The Americn economy leans heavily on lack of price transparency and opaqueness. You're not allowed to know what you're buying until it delivers, at which point you can either accept it or complain loudly. Adding on a million junk

You wrote "All tiktok code is written by ByteDance engineers in china." While historically that might have been true in the old codebase, it isn't anymore. There is a significant TikTok office presence in South Bay, with many

Valve is privately-owned with its BDFL owning over half of it. It has never gone through a leadership transition. It could relatively quickly go entirely bad after Gabe Newell is gone.

How serious is this comment? As a thought experiment, this intrigues me. Imagine Steve Wozniak suddenly pops in as CEO. What might happen to the company in the following years?

I've been trying for the longest time and across models to generate pictures or cartoons of people with six fingers and now they won't do it. They always say they accomplished it, but the result always has 5 fingers. I hate being

They should go back to the Windows Vista theme, that was the best one. Liquid Glass proved it.

Three other comments are dunking on the OP writing "Windows 10 came out more than 20 years ago". It's probably a typo for "10 years ago" and OP is comparing it by saying Apple does 7-8 years.

I'm more interested in how this update causes the issue. What is the mechanism?

How can you write "I bought the cheapest EV" in the blog title, and have a section called "Why buy Leaf?" followed by a one-liner zinger aphorism "Price." without writing... the price you bought your used Nissa
