So do we know how much are the egress costs for AWS? In other words how much AWS is overcharging? I guess they make every effort / creative bookkeeping trick to exaggerate their egress costs and it will take years until EU completes th

As a European I'd like to see my compatriots to wake up that having zero alternatives to US companies is pretty unhealty. For smartphone OSes the alternatives are not realistic for 99.9%. For PCs it's probably 95%. We live in a fr

Munich's train connection is not really good. Nearly no long distance trains and a very long travel time to Munich main station where you need to change unless Munich is your final destination. So you lose over an hour, nearly 2 taking

But you probably still want an error if the input file does not exist. To handle grep correctly in a robust manner requires many lines of boilerplate, set +e, storing $?, set -e, distinguishing exit values 0, 1, and 2.

How is no spending limit a serverless problem? It's a cloud problem. Edit: Well, if you have small cloud servers they might go down under an attack. And if you pay only outgoing like in AWS that's good for you.

An absolute number without even mentioning the period is clickbaity. I'd like to know a percentage. Our startup suffers from our AWS bill, but it's well below 10k a month. So we would be glad to reduce it by 3k or 5k.
