A Google Doc, shared would also do the trick. I was first thinking EtherPad and I did that for years in-house but then I realized Google Doc is just that only better as I didn't have to add plug-ins to get images. See my other comment

We're a 24 person department; not a startup but we act in some ways as one. I am the in-house tech person and I use a database to record each days work. It's for myself but I know it will be valuable to the person who follows me s

It is very well presented in the video. Even more is discussed. Some of it looks promising.

Daily I use a FileMaker default template as it allows me to attach docs and media along with text. And by-the-way, it has kept almost 5 years of daily pics of me! For meetings I use an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil using GoodNotes4—works great

They're good. They only come to me when they're having a problem and it's only a few times a day so I can get a lot of work done. If I must, I close my door and put a sign "Coding but welcome" and I'm sure some

I thought this was about the programming language RUST—it's not. It is a diatribe about how this person feels Apple's software quality is going down hill. And get this... it's dated 2014. Not saying that it is old just that a

LocalStorage is a very small space(can't recall the numbers right now) I've come to learn. And it varies between browsers.

This always makes me think that if we had a semantic web that this would be unnecessary. I know, I know, that's unrealistic but hear me out. It means that you wouldn't have to hoard data such as in this case. Yeah I know, terrible

I love this. I recall when Palm did an SF event and I thought they should have given every participant a phone–they didn't. Not long after they were gone.

I recall being on a weekend drill, camping and during the day we had A-10's flying low overhead, fast. I could see them looking up past the pine tree cover above us. Someone then told me it was just one A-10!

So glad this post came along. I was just thinking the other day that I am truly in favor of Apple splitting with one part iPhone and the other Macs. I really think that will bring back innovation in Mac hardware.

All that banter here aside, that was a really well written story. It's not often I enjoy a read from start to finish but I did. Thank you Paul Ford. - Brian

The engineer(s)/tech(s) name was never mentioned or the group members who came up with this. Why no credit? I'd be nice to read about a human with a name, a history, a story. I see that a lot in stories.
