Yup, for years. It feels exactly the same as a MacBook track pad and lets you use all the same gestures. I like it better than a mouse for my work machine.

Their reason was that I didn’t comply with the RTO policy. It didn’t prevent me from claiming unemployment though.

I allowed myself to be fired for not returning. It took over a full year after the RYO deadline for the firing to happen.

I’ve been using Workflowy for over a decade. It’s mostly just an infinitely nested bullet point list and has only basic features. Organization is up to you. It’s cross platform and has a good search. My only gripe is that pasting from a sep

I have ADHD and perhaps undiagnosed autism. It’s severely affected my ability to build software, but lends itself well to supporting other teams in larger companies. I usually lose interest in my work within a few years. This leads to a lot

Can't speak for this keyboard, but the build quality for 8BitDo's controllers are excellent. Better than the office XBox controllers imo, and a bit cheaper too.

I was in massive student debt from a failed attempt at an art degree. I signed up for online CS courses which allowed me to apply for internships. After a lucky break I got one in California. From there I dropped out again and started worki

Yeah, and it’s a bit closer for me. I was asked to resign after not returning to the office when asked. I refused, hoping to get severance or unemployment insurance. I’m a few weeks past the deadline and am just waiting for HR to make their

I’m doing exactly that at one of the big name tech companies. I refused to resign when asked. It’s well past the return to office deadline and still been business as usual. Literally no negatives aside from a few awkward conversations with

One box testing works well for some scenarios. It's not completely safe but the risks are low. If there is an issue then it only impacts a very small number of customers. If they retry they'll likely hit one of the thousands of st

Seems a bit disingenuous, though it may technically be true, to report that now with all the wildfires happening in the PNY. Yesterday the AQI in south Washington where I was hit 323, which was higher than Seattle. The rain can’t come soon

It was a known issue with the first gen 1070/1080 cards. Something about inadequate VRAM cooling. EVGA put out a notice that this was an issue and they would replace the bad part for free but I apparently missed the memo. They also pus
