Do lawyers work in front of laptops always? I used to be in consulting so I know sizable time had to be spent while away from my laptop. Just curious how lawyers work.

Nope, offshorinng to non-US companies is the most preferred alternative in the real world. Just look at the fact. Offshorinng has been existing for a long time. Building dev center in Ohio and Montana is much more difficult and costly.

As I mentioned above, big techs are already expanding their offshore dev centers. Going offshore is a proven option to them.

IPO is a one-time event. You gotta wait for the best perfect timing. I don't think its financial suck. It might not be the best shape at this moment.

That would be a quite naive solution for the owner of the goods. The owners do not have to pay anything essentially. Hanjin is still responsible to unload the goods at any cost (e.g. selling their ships to someone else).
