The notion that the default, most important activity to hold in a park is "protest" sounds also quite dystopian to me.

I usually don't want to be the wise-ass responding profoundly to a question that was not asked, but I can't resist. Ignore news and focus on things that are more important, like family, health and work. It's probably overall

Being born to two educated parents is not luck on your part, but well deserved reward for a long, concerted effort on theirs. You're not a random happening on a clean slate; you're just the latest offshoot of a family.

This might not be possible, e.g. if the UI says Difficulty: high/low And the separate UI elements are fed separate stings.

Don't ever use the original string as key in the localization table. That will force you to translate "high" difficulty the same as "high" resolution, for example.

"Intel unable to make dents in the GPU business" must come from a parallel universe. Meanwhile in ours Intel has gobbled up virtually the entire low end GPU market, and is proceeding to take over the middle ground. It's the N

The 380x and 390x are HOT. Newer Radeons are much better in that regard, and generally very decent cards - 470/480 and the recent rebrands/reclocks 570/580.

If you control both sides of the channel - compression and decompression - and can make money out of better or faster compression, you should definitely look into RAD Game Tools' Oodle libraries - they exceed LZ4/Zstd on all axes.

Damn socialism was pretty horrible for the environment back when we had it around here, pre-1989. Our capital was blanketed by the exhaust of a huge steelworks plant several sizes too big for our economy, and our friendly neighbors across t
