Does the EU do something similar? I don’t live in Ohio but I’d be mad if I’m at home sweating so some corp that harvested my data can keep their servers cool.

This is why I’ve got albums worth of songs written and not recorded. Meanwhile AI prompters are pumping out full albums of music every few days and the general public thinks it is real. It’s a little depressing.

Thank you for this comment. For my job, I am driving in my car anywhere from 4-6 hours a day. You could say I am just sitting there, why don’t I have energy to do anything else with my free time? I’ve recently begun to realize that while dr

That’s how I’ve come to feel about video games. I don’t have a word for it other than to say it feels like video games are life-taking while creative work or manual labor are life-giving but still tiring.

The things you listed have always been with us, sure. What we’ve lost is the ability to see objective truth. And maybe people celebrated senseless killing in the past too and we just didn’t have access to their sick mentality before the int

The article talks about the expense of a dishwasher while totally ignoring how much money it costs people to order food delivery all the time. Dining out is 285% more expensive than making food at home. I’ve never gotten food delivered but

I don’t know if you can factually back up your claims but I applaud your proper use of decimate. It is a rare thing. One might even say it happens less than 10% of the time.

Actually we were talking about personal consequences to Musk.

The Left was coming after Musk pretty hard before the election. I don’t know the context of the quote you pulled but it’s not hard to see how if Trump lost, there was going to be consequences for Musk.

I grow 20ish varieties of fruit, with 60+ more if you add in all the various cultivars within those 20. Medlar is one I’ve been meaning to add for a couple of years and I think I’ll finally do it next spring.

The thing about depression and suicidal thoughts is that they lie to you that things will never get better than where they are right now. So someone wanting to die at any given moment, might not feel that way at any given moment in the futu

I’ll be honest, I don’t understand much of what you’re trying to get across here. I don’t even know how empathy figures into it. You could just let the OP choose to answer for themselves instead of getting offended on their behalf. So far,

Yeah could be. Their overall story seems interesting. Just curious to know more of the “why” behind the effort.

Not sure why I’m being downvoted. Asking why someone wrote something is a basic skill everyone is taught in primary school.

What motivated you to make this? It’s not entirely clear to me from looking over more of your site. Seems like a lot of effort unless you and your family are believers.

The article was infuriating in its aimless meandering between the Walmart story and commentary on tech staffing in general. I have no idea what actually happened.

Just for fun, you can approach texts with a metaphorical “talk to me now!” shout by simply texting “Hey” It is amusing how well it works at getting a quick response.

I’m middle aged and communicate almost exclusively via text for non-work stuff. But I’m often reminded about how easy it is for things to be misconstrued over text. Just the other day I sent what I meant to be an encouraging text to someone
