In Emacs, you can use CIDER together with ClojureScript. By following these instructions[0] I was able to get the combined Figwheel+REPL functionality. [0] https://cider.readthedocs.io/en/latest/up_and_running/

I enjoy the game a lot, but I disagree that it has that much of educational value. Without pre-existing geometry knowledge (e.g. similar triangles; median, bisector, and altitude in an isosceles triangle) the way to solve puzzles is only to

Transit is unreadable exactly because it has to work around the limitations of JSON (like string-only keys) to deliver its primary features: true maps, tagged collections etc. TJSON only has tags for primitives, so yeah, it's not much

We currently use DockerUI on our instances. What would be the compelling reason to switch to Portainer?

I've just tried it, and it is absolutely the same as Droid Sans Mono (which I love and use), barring the extra line spacing. They haven't even fixed the kerning problem with "w".

It's funny how catnaroek was completely vendetta-downvoted in this thread for speaking valid things. For those who don't understand the difference between objects and values, this video may be of help: https://www.youtu

I wonder how OK it is in their relationship to say things like that. That's obviously a joke, but it still comes quite bitter when such phrases are then revealed to general public.

Author here. There are certain performance issues, in both loading time and memory consumption. There were efforts to make Clojure runtime smaller, but they are kind of suspended for now. I revived my old lean compiler code and for basic He

Ads are aspirational, not representational according to mostly everything wrote by thelastpsychiatrist. While they are bust-assing their studies they still aspire to look cool, friendly and careless. Hence the add.

My argument is why not making it look like: (comp (transducer map inc) (transducer filter even?)) Of course, it's more typing and doesn't look as nice as single-arity map, but it goes along quite well with (partial map inc). I can

This looks exciting, but I'm confused about the decision to add extra arity to collection-manipulating functions. "filter" that returns a collection or a transducer depending only on arity seems a little counter-intuitive.

I have no business arguing with you on the topic, but I'm just wondering: is it really so that accusing someone's argument in ad hominem is ad hominem? Or have you just used "tu quoque"?

This reminds me of Caller ID spoofing. It was nicely described in Kevin Mitnick's book "The Art of Deception".

Right, unlocking the phone prior to opening apps is so hard and boring. Let's just launch them directly from the lockscreen. Wait, apps are accidentally being launched in my pocket. Can I have a lockscreen for the lockscreen?

nix hasn't really moved an inch on the desktop front anyway What a ridiculous thing to say. Millions of people use *nix operating systems on their desktop computers every day. This number is significantly higher than a few years ago.

I use Emacs for Clojure development (and pretty much everything else) and still think there should be a project like Nightcode. I frown everytime someone recommends Emacs to a newbie interested in Clojure (and hasn't used Emacs before)
