Currently, I use the Amazon marketplace instead of Google because the Google marketplace doesn't support my device (Pocket Edge upgraded to 2.2). However, there's no reason (other than policy) that a device couldn't access both.

It doesn't seem that odd to me. I can see carrying around multiple phones to test the features and usability against each other. I can see testing the GPS in multiple phones against one or more dedicated GPS units.

Were I a web designer, I'd be tempted by this job posting. Is a bit of cynicism and humor really that awful? I thought the last paragraph gave a very clear idea of the sort of person they're looking for.

Work: rdist over ssh Personal projects: rsync over ssh In both cases I use a wrapper script to make the push as simple as possible. At work I push from the dev server to prod, at home I push from my desktop to either dev or (dev and prod).

I initially read this as "I would be pretty tickled if Google (a web search company) stomped on my work." And that made a lot of sense to me. If I had a really obscure project that I was proud of, and Google came along and made a project w

The first thing that I would check would be the cables. Do you always use the same cable when plugging the laptop into the cable modem? Because when you're adding the router in you're also adding a second cable.

"Openly" was poorly phrased, I merely meant "that I know about". I don't actually spend a lot of time vetting bookstores. I liked Village Books, but I haven't lived up in Bellingham for well over 18 years. I like Elliott Bay. I like the UW

Think of it this way: app stores are kind of like privately owned bookstores. The owner of the bookstore doesn't have to carry the art book of nudes or the pro-Nazi thesis. I would be very unhappy with a general bookstore openly refusing
