The higher you are up the escalation pyramid, the more available you have to be (though you are hopefully bothered less often). Of course humans can't be "always" available, but there can be a (self-imposed) obligation to be as available as possible. Personally, I turn my phone off in theaters and museums, and at weddings and funerals. I've considered setting up multiple numbers, but haven't yet.
