Being able to run two OS'es at the same time seamlessly is pretty cool. Many programs I use are either Windows or Linux exclusive so it saves me a lot of time rebooting compared to double-booting.

I think you can skip the empty () in D. The syntax becomes much more readable when you don't have to return to upper levels of functions. Thankfully pipes exist in functional languages, which makes it feel just right half_square

Instead of enabling one-time donations, I see some value in sponsorships with a predetermined EOL: Instead of donating $10 one-time, get a 10-month sponsorship for $1 each and at the end of those 10 months, decide whether you want to contin

Putting addition and concatenation under the same operator massively backfires when you start using math libraries. All of the language semantics is thrown out of the window when you can realistically sum or concatenate the same two element

Maybe the causality works in reverse and Safeway discounts triscuits only when they run out of Parmesan Garlic. It would make sense if the supplier only provides equal amounts of each special flavor.

My current apartment has a "smart lock" system for entry into the building. The system becomes unresponsive with no electricity, which means you're locked out. But you can kick open the door anyways, so at least that's a

Coordinated groups have voting power of sqrt(total money)*sqrt(number of individuals), uncoordinated ones have sqrt(money). If you are for some cause, you should just find like-minded individuals and pool your total money. They have very li

I think that can be gracefully solved by the language server. The client is local, the server is remote and each remote has the server corresponding to the correct version.
