   Current technology doesn't look very promising unless we somehow come up with a "computer" architecture that is similarly scalable and energy efficient as a brain. Machine learning and deep learning aren't exactly new. T

   Cars that carry less than 4 passengers aren't viable as a replacement to existing public transport in terms of capacity or price.

   After all some trucking companies can sometimes even get away with not paying their drivers because the drivers didn't drive enough miles to cover the truck lease this week and therefore go home with a bill rather than a paycheck.

   Uber knows the routes ahead of time. They can decide if the route and time of day is safe enough for the limited self driving technology they employ or send a human driver if their SDCs can't handle it.

   Honestly the headline doesn't match the article at all. It's the same old advice from 40 years ago: eat your damn veggies and fruit.
