I used to love, love, love Heroku. I would tell everyone about it, and at one point I was probably running 20+ projects on it. I can't quite put my finger on why, but I've gradually transitioned everything off it over the past few

Late to the party, but just wanted to comment that I appreciated the namesake spelled out by social media icons in the footer. Some people put thought into all angles :)

On first pass I took that to mean if they were rigid/formal people. May not be what was intended, but that's how it sat with me.

Zuckerberg's problem is structural: Facebook makes money by manipulating people into viewing ads. No amount of spin or contrition is going to change that, so he has a tough road ahead. He can, however, take a page from Google's bo

TL;DR: guy splices random scenes into his videos that are owned by multiple large corporations so that the firms fight each other over royalties. Is this a "Brilliant Workaround"? I report, you decide.

I'd argue that the best chance for anyone reading this to be remembered in 1000 years is to be the first person to do X on Mars, where X is probably "set foot". That'd get you in the history books for anything related to

This really is the endgame for both Uber and Lyft. IIRC, Uber did $16B last year in revenue and paid something like $13B to drivers. Self driving vehicles will turn their current breakeven/loser business models into massive cash cows.

Honestly I see no reason to even mention markdown. Sundown really has nothing to do with it. Just state why it's an improvement over HTML in various scenarios.

I can see the use case you're going for. As others have mentioned though, this value is not coming as an alternative to markdown but rather an enhancement to HTML in a different use case. Feels kind of like Sundown:HTML::SCSS:CSS. If y

For everyone saying Fortress are idiots: this is a loan and the amount is conditional. That means 2 things: 1) If Theranos fails, Fortress can claim its assets. 2) The money is not released until certain milestones are met. So either Theran
